Remix Labs Privacy Policy

Introduction

Figly, Inc. dba Remix Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation (collectively, “Remix Labs,” “us,” or “we”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes our privacy practices as it relates to information relating to individuals (“Personal Data”) on the applications and services offered by Remix Labs (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies to the extent Remix Labs processes Personal data as controller and not to the extent Remix Labs processes data on behalf of its customers, including where customers create their own applications on our platform or otherwise collect, use, share, or process data via the Remix Labs Services.

Information Collected and How We Use It

When using the Services you may provide us with your name, email address, username, and password for purposes of creating a login. Some individuals may also provide payment information for billing purposes.

When you use our Services, we may collect information using cookies, pixel tags, and other similar technologies (collectively, “Cookies”) for user authentication purposes, to understand how users use the Service, and to provide technical support.

We use the information you provide to Remix Labs as a user of the Service solely for the purposes of providing the Service and fulfilling our obligations under the agreement we have with the customer with which you are associated or as may otherwise be required by law. We may use the information collected about how you use the Service for purposes of improving the Service.

Remix does not sell, rent or monetize your personal data or content in any way.

We will retain your information only as long as your account is active or as long as necessary to fulfill its obligations under its agreement with the Remix Labs customer with which you are associated or to fulfill other legal obligations.

In relation to Personal Data provided by customers, Remix Labs is the data processor and the Remix Labs customer that provided the Personal Data to be processed by Remix Labs is the data controller.

Specifically as it relates to the Remix mobile app on the AppStore or Play Store, we only collect your email address and user ID (or account ID). Other data on your mobile device is not collected by us, unless you specifically send it to us, e.g., for a support request.

Cookies

We use the following types of cookies:

Essential Cookies

These enable you to navigate and use the features of the Services. Without these, you would not be able to log into secure areas of the Services. You cannot opt-out of Essential Cookies because they are essential to operating the Services.

Functionality Cookies

These enable Remix Labs to remember preferences you may have indicated and information you have provided to Remix Labs to give you a customized experience on the Services. You can opt-out of Functionality Cookies by setting your browser to not accept cookies, however doing so may impact the functionality of the Services and degrade your user experience.

Performance Cookies

Remix Labs utilizes Performance Cookies to analyze how users use the Services to help Remix Labs improve the way the Services work. We utilize third party applications, such as Google Cloud’s Stackdriver, to analyze statistical information from users of the Service. We might be able to associate such information with other information which we collect from you.

Your Control Over Your Information

If you would like to exercise your rights as it relates to your Personal Data which a customer of Remix Labs has submitted to Remix Labs or which such customer is processing using the Services, you must contact that organization. If at any time, you wish to update, change, request deletion or a copy of Personal Data that you have provided to Remix Labs, please contact us at privacy@remixlabs.com with a detailed request. Please note that simply deleting your account also deletes your Personal Data.

Besides your account identification information, in most cases, we simply do not have your application-related data. Remix cannot access the content of your messages.

User Support

If you contact Remix Labs User Support, any personal data you may share with us is kept only for the purposes of researching the issue and contacting you about your case.

Sharing of Information with Third Parties

We may utilize contractors, technology vendors, or other entities (“Agents”) to assist us in providing the Service. Agents will only have access to, and the right to use, information as necessary to carry out the services they are performing for Remix Labs or as otherwise required by law.

For example, our Third-Party Providers may send a verification code to your phone number when you register for our Services. These providers are bound by their Privacy Policies to safeguard that information. If you use other Third-Party Services like Salesforce, Twitter, Spotify, Youtube, etc. in connection with our Services, their Terms and Privacy Policies govern your use of those services. We also do not have access to any of your authorization credentials associated with such Services.

If Remix Labs should ever merge with or get acquired by another organization, file for bankruptcy, or sell our assets or capital stock, we may transfer information collected to a third party or the acquirer and such entity may continue to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Security

We maintain industry-standard physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect the information collected from the risk of accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration or unauthorized disclosure or access.

Keeping Your Account Secure

Remix Labs embraces privacy by design and does not have the ability to access your data, in-app messages and push notifications. You are responsible for keeping your device and your Remix Labs account safe and secure. If you lose your phone, any data that was saved using the Remix Labs platform will no longer be available. For this reason, we encourage our users to backup their data using a cloud-based data storage service such as iCloud or Google Drive.

Third-Party Websites and Services

This Privacy Policy applies only to Remix Labs’ Services. You may use third party applications or services in conjunction with our Services. We encourage you to carefully review the terms of use, privacy policies, and any other legal documents applicable to such third-party websites, applications, or services before using them.

International Transfers of Information

For the purpose of operating our Services, you agree to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy, as well as the transfer of your encrypted information and metadata to the United States and other countries where we have or use facilities, service providers or partners. Examples would be Third Party Providers sending you a verification code and processing your support tickets.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a new version of this Privacy Policy on the Website. When we do change the Privacy Policy, we will also revise the “last updated” date on the Privacy Policy and may notify you or post a notice via the Service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your agreement to the current version of the Privacy Policy.
